You'll be trusted to lead, make smart calls, and keep raising the bar. The Role: Leading Hand / Foreman This role is your launch pad to Site Manager. You'll run day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, and maintain the systems that keep projects on time and on spec. You'll work side by side with the Director — learning how to forecast, plan, and problem-solve at the next level. Your focus: Drive progress and performance across every trade on site Read and interpret plans, manage schedules, and forecast key milestones Lead subcontractors with confidence — no chaos, no corners cut Keep quality and safety tight through BuildPass and structured reporting Take ownership of the site's systems, workflow, and delivery standards You'll learn how the business runs, not just how to run a site. What You Bring You've already proven you can handle a build end to end — now you're ready to lead with structure and accountability. Strong background in residential construction and site leadership Skilled in site set-out, plan interpretation, and safety management Trade qualified with your own transport Confident using MS Office and site management apps (BuildPass or similar) Clear communicator with a keen eye for detail and consistency You take pride in your work, keep standards high, and don't tolerate poor workmanship or program drift Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position What's In It For You $90–110k + super (based on experience) Direct mentorship from the Director to prepare you for Site Manager Supportive leadership that values initiative, not micromanagement Exposure to high-end architectural projects Strong systems and processes that help you perform at your best A genuine career pathway — not just another site role Is This You?
