We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Psychology Lecturer to join their cohesive and ambitious team of educators. Role: Psychology Lecturer Location: Greater Manchester Start Date: January 2025 Job Type: Temporary The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Psychology Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching within a dynamic, forward-department. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting learners and confident in delivering of Psychology. Your contribution will play a vital part in helping students achieve key qualifications that support progression into further study, apprenticeships, or employment. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Psychology. Plan, prepare, and assess teaching materials in line with curriculum requirements and learner needs. Support and motivate learners with varying abilities to ensure successful outcomes. Monitor learner progress and provide constructive, timely feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall learner experience. Contribute to departmental meetings, quality processes, and curriculum development. Maintain accurate records in accordance with college policies and awarding body guidelines. Educations, Skills and Experience Degree in Psychology or a related subject. A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed). Proven experience delivering Psychology within a post-16 or FE environment. Strong knowledge of the Psychology curriculum. Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills. A learner-centred approach and a commitment to supporting positive outcomes for all students.
