As a Good Oaks carer, you’d make a huge difference to the quality of our clients’ lives, having enough time to go the extra mile.We work hard to develop care roles into a rewarding career that people can progress in; we offer salaried and flexible contracts, paid mileage, career progression through funded diplomas and our Team Leader structure that we only recruit from within for.No experience required and we provide paid training and detailed support when you joinWhat will you do?Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the clientProvide assistance with daily household tasks and activitiesPerform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, laundry and ironingAssist with meal preparation and cookingRun errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptionsAssist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming (if required)Monitor medication schedules and remind clients to take their medication (if required)Accompany clients to appointments or social outings (if required)Who are you?You’re a caring individual with a good work ethicYou have excellent people and communication skillsYou’re able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyYou can demonstrate professionalism and can treat people with respectYou’re reliable and trustworthy and can maintain confidentiality of client informationYou have the physical stamina to perform household tasks and assist with personal careYou have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for workYou must have the right to work in the UKThis is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
