Benefits HSF Health Care Company events Company pension Discounted or free food Employee discount On-site parking Referral programme Sick pay About The Job We are seeking a dedicated and experienced worker in Residential Child Care to support the House Manager to lead on the day-to-day operations of one of our residential homes. This is a key leadership role, responsible for creating a stable, safe and caring environment for the young people in our care, while supporting and developing a team of Therapeutic Support workers. Requirements Minimum of 2 years’ experience within residential care or relevant field Relevant professional qualifications HNC Social Care. SVQ level 3 Social Services (Children and Young People or equivalent is essential. SVQ level 4 Social Services (Children and Young People or equivalent is desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection A trauma‑informed approach and understanding of complex behavioural needs Ability to work flexibly participating in sleep over shifts and on call which will involve weekend working. Full UK driving license Common Thread has 14 Residential Child Care homes across Scotland.
