Overview Lead world‑class research and shape the future of child outcomes as a Professor of Child Health at the University of Leeds. You will support the growth and delivery of the ambitious Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds (CHORAL) programme, a £5 million initiative focused on improving outcomes for children and young people in areas such as severe childhood illnesses, neonatal and paediatric intensive care, health inequalities, and mental health. Responsibilities You will be an established children’s health care professional (from any clinical discipline other than medicine or dentistry) with a strong record of interdisciplinary research, academic leadership, and training and supervision. Your expertise will align with one of CHORAL’s Multidisciplinary Research Groups: Improving Childhood Wellbeing, Transforming Outcomes Through Data Linkage, Children’s Cancer Translational Research, or Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care. Qualifications Excellent research and publication record; alignment with CHORAL’s aims and the strategic priorities of the University of Leeds and its key stakeholders. National and international reputation in your field, supported by active engagement in professional, research, and education networks.
