OverviewAsbestos SurveyorHere at Lucion, we are currently recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor or Dual-Trained Surveyor/Analyst to join our Hazardous Materials team. This is a field-based role and the opportunity is advertised nationally. Applications from candidates in Coventry and the Midlands are welcome due to high work volumes in the area.ResponsibilitiesCarrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection, including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys as well as asbestos in the groundAir monitoring and airborne fibre countingInspection of contractors’ remediation work, signing off removal works or rejecting unsatisfactory removals as part of the 4SC processAccurate collection of factual and numerical site data via a phablet device to automatically generate quality reports through our NexGen softwareFamiliarity and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation and guidance (e.g., HSE and construction)Maintaining personal QHSE documentation and adhering to internal assurance processesProviding a professional and courteous service to clients, answering queries, and offering specialist advice and interpretation where necessaryMore About YouA BOHS P402, P403 or P404, equivalent RSPH qualification, or Certificate of CompetenceWorking knowledge of HSG:248 The Analysts’ Guide and HSG:264 The Survey GuideFull UK driving licence (manual)Flexible approach to travelling and out-of-hours workingStrong work ethic with the ability to work effectively and intuitively alone or as part of a small teamWhat We OfferPaid overtimePaid travel contributing to your core 40-hour week, with an enhanced hourly rate; typically valued between £3,000 – £4,000 on average25 days annual leave including 3 days Christmas shutdown plus bank holidaysCompany van with equipment, PPE and company uniformAllowance for working away (short term and long-term)Life assuranceReward platform including wellbeing centre, cycle to work scheme, and discounts/cashback from over 800 retailersEmployee Assistance ProgrammeUp to £2,000 referral bonusHealthcare cashback schemeSupportive family policies including enhanced parental leaveMore About UsLucion is a purpose-driven, beyond net-zero company dedicated to protecting people from hazardous environments and protecting the environment from the impacts of people.
