Access Talent Group are recruiting for a highways and traffic engineering design consultancy who are on the look out for a Highways Technician. You will work in both Public and Private sectors throughout the UK. Their Engineer have a broad range of experience in delivering minor highway improvements to major highway infrastructure projects. The role Ensuring the health and safety needs and wellbeing of customers and employees are fully considered and accounted for throughout the planning and delivery of each service activity. Supporting the identification and evaluation of asset specific needs in order to develop future maintenance, renewals and improvement solutions. To support the development of asset renewals and improvement plans, in line with agreed methodologies and prioritisation criteria. Providing support in the identification and management of asset studies and survey works. To input into the development of early solutions for improvements and/or renewals, including the compiling of relevant documents, evidence and options for value management. Supporting the development of technical briefs provided to the design and construction contractor for improvement and renewals work Good understanding of the function of Highways England and the importance of the Strategic Road Network Good personal impact and the ability to inspire confidence and positive action FLT Driver – Days (3 on / 3 off Rotation) Salary: Competitive Sector: Transport Infrastructure, Production & Manufacturing Contract Type: Full time Town/City: WEST LOTHIAN #J-18808-Ljbffr
