Role overviewAs a Service Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our fleet customers' Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles performing at their best. This position is based on-site at one of our fleet partners, where you'll carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs exclusively on Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.Working independently on the customer's premises, you'll represent Citygate and the Volkswagen brand with professionalism and pride — delivering the same exceptional service quality we offer in our own workshops. You'll build strong working relationships with the fleet team, provide expert advice, and ensure every vehicle leaves your care meeting Volkswagen's exacting standards.Key responsibilitiesYour key responsibilities as a Service Technician will be:To receive work from the workshop controller and carry out related checks, administration and protection routinesTo assess tool and equipment requirements and communicate any related issuesTo service and repair all vehiclesTo report on all additional repair requirements as they are identifiedTo make written and verbal reports on service and repair in the workshop the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisationTo complete all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair workTo maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environmentTo undertake vehicle road tests when necessaryTo assist with development and training of other techniciansTo attend meetings and training programmes as requiredTo perform other duties in support of other team members as requiredWhat\u2019s in it for you?With our benefits there is something good for everyone.
