Base pay range Direct message the job poster from Pertemps Network Group Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor Contract: Fixed Term – 12 months About the Role Join a leading organisation supporting UK defence infrastructure and delivering programmes across Salisbury and Wiltshire. In this role, you will teach, coach, assess, and support learners, helping them achieve their qualifications and reach their full potential. We are looking for an experienced Functional Skills Tutor to deliver face-to-face English and Maths courses (Level 1 & 2) to apprentices (cohorts up to 16 learners). The position also involves acting as an Apprenticeship Support Coach, providing extra guidance to ensure learners stay on track and succeed. Key Responsibilities of the Functional Skills Tutor Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths, adapting lessons to meet learner needs. Support and motivate learners, including those with SPLDs or neurodiverse requirements. Plan and prepare lessons, assessments, and learning resources. Conduct invigilation and assessments in line with ESFA, Ofsted, and awarding organisation requirements. Track and report learner progress accurately. Build strong working relationships with colleagues across delivery, quality, and compliance teams. Maintain CPD and contribute ideas to enhance teaching and learning. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity, and company policies.
