Join to apply for the Care Home Administrator role at Wood Care Group Purpose of the Role: Care Home Administrator In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth business operations by performing related administrative duties while supporting the Management Team with their everyday needs processes. Ensuring visitors experience within the home is positive. This role is 37.5 hours per week working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm. Responsibilities Telephone duties General office housekeeping Answering incoming calls in a support function. Supporting with incoming calls for prospective new residents Keeping up to date residents’ funds including audits Supporting the accounts department Supporting the Management with tasks to be completed ad hoc. Maintaining staff personnel files & prospective new staff information Ensuring up to date right to work, DBS checks and nurse pin checks are completed. Ensuring compliance within the home Maintain confidentiality and ensure security of all information is maintained. Ensure good communication with management, staff, residents and relatives. KPI reporting Welcoming new starters to the Company Attend any required meetings Ensure all training is completed to Wood Care Group Standard General day to day tasks to assist with the running of the home. Liaise with Head Office Accounts Team regarding fees, admissions, occupancy. Reporting any broken equipment through the portal or through the appropriate channels. Ensuring staff files are uploaded, stored, and managed correctly for your Team. Assist management with rota adjustments, clocking in issues and lateness reporting. Assisting HR with employee information around sickness dates, new starter information, documentation and any other information which may be required. Any other ad hoc tasks that may arise Safeguarding within the home is everyone’s responsibility, ensure all training is up to date and aware of policy and where to report if necessary. About You Good communication skills, to communicate with the residents, families and management team. Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential. A committed and organised approach. Other Duties To Attend Staff Meetings. Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs, demands of the home and participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training. Employee's need to ensure they fully understand their safeguarding responsibility, develop their understanding and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support. Employee's need to ensure that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control. Ensure that the safeguarding and whistle blowing policies are adhered to at all time. Provide evidence of any untaken training. Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment. Complete all training as determined by the home.
