We are a young, fast-growing civil & electrical construction company based in Kurnell Sydney, NSW. As we move into our next stage of growth, we are looking to bring on an experienced and motivated Civil Estimator to support our tendering and pre-construction processes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the commercial success of our projects. Key Responsibilities High-voltage power cable installations Substations and electrical infrastructure Civil construction works including earthworks, concrete, trenching, and drainage Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Conduct quantity take-offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) Analyse labour, plant, material, and subcontractor costs Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotes Identify project risks and prepare contingency allowances Assist with tender submissions and pricing strategies Maintain and update estimating databases and costing models Support post-tender reviews and project handovers About You Proven experience as a Civil Estimator within infrastructure or construction Prior exposure to high-voltage electrical works and substations highly regarded Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong analytical and organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders Excellent communication and time management skills Be able to bring your own skills and capabilities in to our work group to help our business grow About J & B Civil Infrastructure Pty Ltd This company does not have any further information provided at this time.
