Working on live construction sites, you’ll help turn complex and innovative designs into reality – ensuring they’re built safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Our site teams typically start early and finish in the late afternoon, so adaptability and enthusiasm are key. It’s a fast‑paced environment where you’ll see the results of your work taking shape every day.What you’ll doIn Procurement Advisory, you will assist the team to deliver best practice procurement and supply chain solutions, supported by the key principles of responsible/ethical procurement practices, service excellence tools, and industry best practice. Some of your main responsibilities will include:Assisting the prequalification management via standard selection questionnaire processDrafting tender documents and managing the evaluation process with internal stakeholdersAssisting in the development of procurement strategies if requested, and client advisory services on procurement and supply chain deliveryProviding support and coordination relative to the reporting requirements of the project, including various briefing notes as necessary. Assists and ensures that the procurement rules and procedures are followed through all procurement activitiesDeveloping working relationships with a range of senior stakeholdersWorking with team members providing operational delivery of team/regional strategySupporting (area/team), using basic/established technical capabilitiesYou will also work towards gaining professional membership of a professional association, fully funded and supported by us with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).What we can offer youOur two-year Graduate Development Programme gives you structured on‑the‑job training and the chance to take on meaningful work from day one. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace Construct offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential, as it may be a regular part of your role.
