Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services📍 Scotland (Edinburgh/Glasgow-based, flexible hybrid)Are you ready to take ownership of complex, sustainable building projects from design through to delivery?We’re supporting a well established engineering consultancy on the search for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is an opportunity to work on high profile projects across education, healthcare, commercial, defence, and transport, with a strong focus on low carbon and sustainable design.What you’ll be doing:Leading the electrical design of building services projects, from concept through detailed design.Working closely with clients to develop clear briefs and produce options appraisals and design reports.Coordinating with architects, structural/civil engineers, and project teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.Overseeing site activity, ensuring quality standards and budget control.Supporting tender processes and validating commissioning procedures.Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.What we’re looking for:Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or related).Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards this.Track record of delivering substantial and complex construction projects.Strong understanding of British Standards and ideally Scottish Technical Standards.Proficiency with MS Office; exposure to AutoCAD, IES, or other design tools would be an advantage.Experience in sustainable/low carbon building design is highly desirable.What’s on offer:Competitive basic salary, with progression opportunities to Associate level.Work on technically challenging, high-profile projects that make a real impact.Support towards professional development and chartership.A collaborative environment where you can mentor others and influence design outcomes.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesBuilding Construction📩 Apply here on LinkedIn to find out more about this role and the projects you could be part of. #J-18808-Ljbffr
