Primary Cover Supervisor / PPA Cover Location: Barking, LondonJob Type: Long Term, Full TimeSalary: Pay to Scale (dependent on experience) We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and adaptable Primary Cover Supervisor / PPA Cover Teacher to join supportive and welcoming primary schools across Barking. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable whole-class teaching experience in primary settings while contributing positively to pupils’ learning and development. Responsibilities Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 to ensure consistent learning when class teachers are absent or on PPA. Providing cover for teachers across the school from EYFS to Year 6. Create a positive, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment. Follow school behaviour policies to maintain a calm and productive atmosphere. Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development throughout the school day. Qualifications Previous experience working with children in a school or educational environment. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Confidence in delivering lessons across multiple primary year groups. A flexible, proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
