The Role We are currently seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Due to our delivery model, flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required. What you’ll be doing As a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Global Banking School, you will deliver management‑related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment, and keep up to date with the latest developments in your field and student support practices. Responsibilities All aspects of planning, delivering and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met Developing, updating and improving course materials as appropriate Using a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties Keeping up to date with developments in your field and student support practices Working towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression About You Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable) Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback Accurate reporting and organisational skills for student records Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills Ability to work with diverse groups of people Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent) Experience in design/development of academic or professional education programmes Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Education and Training Industries: Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
