Junior Clinical Fellow Hours: Full‑Time Location: Royal Brompton, Sydney Street, London, SW3 6NP. The role may be cross‑site at Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Contract length: 6 months, extendable up to 23 months on mutual agreement. Overview Our internationally recognised cardio‑respiratory centre, the Royal Brompton Hospital, offers opportunities for Junior Clinical Fellows to join the Paediatric Medical team. Those appointed will work alongside speciality trainees and share in educational and practical training across Cardiology, Respiratory and Intensive Care. Responsibilities Under the supervision of senior clinical fellows and consultant team, Junior Clinical Fellows provide care across the paediatric inpatient setting – Rose Ward, the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and high‑dependency beds. They support the day‑care unit, including the Rapid Access Service, and attend outpatient clinics observationally. Time is built into the rota for further training in chosen subspecialty and for audit and research projects.
