About the roleWe’re looking for a skilled CNC Turner Machinist to operate our large Doosan XL400 Turning Centre – a 3.6m long machine capable of machining tubes and both medium and large journal ends. This is a new role within the business and an excellent opportunity for the right individual to take ownership of a key area of production.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating the Doosan XL400 with the Fanuc operating systemReading and interpreting engineering drawingsBreaking down drawings into machineable components (tubes and journal ends)Writing CNC programs confidently and accuratelyMaintaining an organised and efficient workflowRequirementsProven experience as a CNC TurnerStrong understanding of Fanuc programmingAbility to work to tight tolerances and high standardsOrganised, reliable and able to work independently4.5‑day week – 39 hours (Monday–Friday)11:45pm finish on FridaysHourly rate: £20.00 – £22.50, depending on experience and skillsetOvertime available at time and a thirdApplyIf you’re a capable machinist looking to step into a key role with real responsibility, we’d like to hear from you.
