A welcoming primary school in Walsall is seeking an experienced, qualified Teacher of the Deaf to join their supportive, inclusive team.What Makes This Role Special A nurturing primary environment in Walsall, where deaf learners are supported to develop independence, communication and a love of learning A school that values inclusion and champions specialist approaches rooted in respect, empowerment and high expectations Your Impact Provide high-quality, differentiated teaching for deaf pupils using auditory/oral, BSL, or total communication approaches depending on need Deliver targeted interventions to support language development, listening skills and access to the curriculum Work closely with class teachers, support staff, communication workers and external specialists to ensure pupils can participate fully in all aspects of school life What You'll Receive A supportive leadership team that values your expertise Access to CPD, educational audiology support and opportunities to further develop your ToD specialism A collaborative SEND department dedicated to improving outcomes for all learners Who We're Hoping to Meet A qualified xsabvtc teacher with QTS A qualified and experienced Teacher of the Deaf (mandatory qualification strongly preferred) Someone confident in supporting deaf pupils with a range of communication needs, including BSL, speech and language development or total communication If you're a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf seeking a rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference, this Walsall primary school could be the perfect next step in your teaching journey.
