What You Will Do as a Support Worker As a Support Worker, your role is to help individuals live with dignity, independence and fulfilment. You will: Provide companionship and emotional support Support with personal care Teach and promote independent living skills Assist with the management of medication Support service users in engaging with community‑based activities such as swimming, social outings and leisure interests With the right training and support you will promote independence, choice, and inclusion – becoming more than just a support worker.
