This role is designed for a Chief Cardiac Physiologist with broad range of expertise in cardiac investigations, particularly in adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE). The position is based at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust and the Ealing Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). The Chief Cardiac Physiologist will serve as an independent clinical specialist, ensuring precise diagnostic practices and the provision of safe, high‑quality patient care. The post holder will lead independently run clinics and offer expert guidance to physicians regarding physiological findings. Band 6 Developmental Role to Band 7 The role encompasses 7‑day flexible working across the sites. Responsibilities Be proficient as an independent practitioner in non‑invasive cardiology procedures. Perform and report on routine and complex transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) to a high standard and in timely manner in accordance with departmental and BSE guidelines. Assist with stress echocardiography and transoesophageal echocardiograms (TOE). Work cross‑site as per needs of the department.
