Year 3 Class Teacher – Maternity Cover Location: Worcester, England, United Kingdom Employment type: Full time Salary Scale: MPS St Oswald’s CE Primary School is part of the Diocese of Worcester Multi Academy Trust. We provide a safe, inclusive environment to enable everyone in our school community to aspire to achieve their full potential. The Governing Body is seeking an outstanding, highly motivated and experienced teacher to teach in class. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, starting January 2026 or as soon as possible afterwards. The successful candidate must be committed to raising the level of achievement for all pupils and able to coordinate a curriculum area. Responsibilities and Requirements Excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations and experience working in KS2 Passionate about outstanding teaching and learning Committed to raising the level of achievement for all pupils Excellent English and Maths skills Sensitive to the needs of individual learners Deliver high quality learning opportunities Enthusiastic and determined to make learning fun Ensure high standards of classroom management and organisation Positive interaction with children, parents and staff Adhere to and support whole‑school policies and practices Work effectively as part of a team Committed to the safety and well‑being of all pupils Contribute to raising standards and believe every child should achieve their best Excellent interpersonal, organisational, communication and time‑management skills Support existing staff by taking on the leadership of a subject We Can Offer Opportunity for individualised CPD and other training Caring, committed, friendly and hardworking staff Happy, well‑behaved, enthusiastic and motivated pupils proud of their school A supportive Governing Body Safeguarding and Eligibility St Oswald’s Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
