The Ivory Federation is a strong partnership between three schools: Propps Hall Primary School in Failsworth, Springhead Infant and Nursery School in Saddleworth, and Rushcroft Primary School in Shaw. All three schools have a warm, nurturing ethos, and we pride ourselves on the strength of our values, our inclusive practice, and our commitment to the well‑being and success of every child. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is motivated to make a genuine difference to children’s lives. Working closely with pupils, families, staff and external agencies, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ emotional well‑being, behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and engagement in learning. We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about supporting children’s emotional, social and mental health needs Has experience working with children and young people, ideally within a school setting Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and families Has the ability to identify barriers to learning and develop targeted support plans Can use restorative and trauma‑informed approaches to help pupils regulate their behaviour Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and can work well as part of a multi‑disciplinary team Is confident in liaising with external agencies including Social Care, CAMHS and Early Help Can maintain accurate safeguarding, behaviour and attendance records Is calm, approachable and able to respond effectively during crisis situations Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils As a school we can offer you: The opportunity to make a significant contribution to the well‑being and development of our pupils.
