Be at the forefront of managing our expanding Electric Vehicle (EV) fleet, contributing to a greener future.**Responsibilities of a Regional Distribution Centre Manager include:*** To ensure all vehicles are maintained in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, are roadworthy and operate within legal requirements e.g., payload, tachograph, etc.* Establish and maintain personnel files for all RDC staff and ensure records and information is kept up to date.* Motivate staff and hold regular monthly meetings with all staff and produce minutes of these meetings.* Ensure drivers are instructed on all aspects of the operation and vehicles including procedures, quality, and security.* There will be a requirement to cover the delivery routes for staff holidays and absence as well as ad hoc volume drops.**The ideal candidate will have:*** Hold a current full C1 driving license with no more than 6 minor offence penalty points.* Working knowledge of tachographs and EU driving regulations in relation to the working time directive.* Be organized and flexible in approach to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.* Smart personal appearance is essential.* Have knowledge of tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations.* You will be required to complete a CRB check.* This job role requires regular contact with the company’s customer base.
