A specialist SEMH school in Folkestone is seeking a motivated Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. In this role, you'll provide consistent, child‑centred support to pupils, helping them manage behaviour, develop emotional wellbeing, and thrive in a supportive school environment. Who we're looking for Recent graduates in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Youth Studies, or related fields. Candidates with a genuine interest in mental health, SEMH, or working with children with complex needs. Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed individuals who want to learn from experienced therapists and educational specialists. Why this role is perfect for graduates Gain hands‑on experience working with children with SEMH needs. Shadow therapy sessions and learn therapeutic approaches on‑site. Build transferable skills in behaviour management, communication, and child‑centred support.
