Verify dimensional conformity using a variety of measuring equipment, including CMM, micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and bore gauges. Complete and maintain inspection reports, including PPAPs, FAIRs, and other required quality documentation. Identify and generate NCRs, working with relevant departments to determine effective and timely root cause analysis. Compile, analyse, and present monthly quality data to identify areas for improvement. Support ISO 9001 compliance through participation in internal and external audit activities. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive process and product improvements. Promote a “Right First Time” culture across the business. Candidate Profile Minimum of 10 years' proven QA/QC experience within a precision engineering (machine shop) environment. Strong understanding of problem‑solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances. Proficient with a range of measuring equipment, including CMM and Keyence systems. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards. Hands‑on approach and leads by example. Confident communicator at all levels, with the ability to challenge and drive positive change. Flexible attitude to work and continuous improvement mindset.
