Payroll Specialist We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our growing People Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple geographies. What you’ll do Own end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Maintain and update employee records in Rippling, including compensation changes, benefits, and deductions. Partner with Finance, People Ops, and external providers to resolve payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with local employment laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements. Support audits, reporting, and reconciliation processes related to payroll. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll operations, automation, and employee experience. Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees, providing timely and clear support. What we need from you 2+ years of hands‑on payroll experience, with exposure to multiple countries and currencies. Experience using Rippling (must‑have). Strong knowledge of global payroll compliance, tax, and reporting requirements. Experience working in a fast‑paced, startup or scale‑up environment with shifting priorities. High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem‑solving ability. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and explain payroll matters clearly. Strong sense of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
