Powell West Yorkshire, England, United KingdomJob DescriptionPanel Wirers have the ability to layout equipment produce basic wiring, working to company process standards and operating procedures in one of either Bench Assembly, LV or MV switchgear.Reports to Team LeaderKey AccountabilitiesMust be able to read basic Schematic drawings, G/A’s, CDR’s, D&P drawings and identify components.Must be competent at stripping and crimping cables from 0.75mm to 120mm using hand tools and machinery.Create Screen and Ethernet Cable.Have the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively.Have the ability to practice good housekeeping at all times and organise the work area effectively.Produce basic wiring in a uniformed manner.Work to clear instruction.Work to process standards and operating procedures.Capable of highlighting potential issues and suggesting rational corrective/preventative actions.Capable and willing to transfer skills and knowledge to colleagues when requested.Responsible for achieving required output including productivity, quality and agreed targets.Operate and have control of Kanban and consumable stock levels.This role will work in a feeder cell (Panel assembly), but will have demand placed on its resource by all manufacturing areas.
