Export Control Officer – Assurance Location: Various locations available. Salary: £40,000+ depending on skills and experience What You’ll Be Doing Performing a rolling programme of audits, checking processes and projects to provide assurance that compliance rules and regulations are being followed Working with others to develop and implement improved compliance processes into the business Helping improve the existing compliance/ assurance processes Supporting the export control team with day-to-day duties Writing reports on findings and tracking those findings to completion Your Skills And Experiences Background in auditing/ compliance Experience of Change Management/ Process Improvements A proactive approach to solving problems, working with the wider team to develop solutions Stakeholder Management Preference will be given to those that have some experience of export controls, full training is available Benefits As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The Export Control Team The export control team is growing with the creation of a new role – come and join our successful team The ideal candidate will have a background in compliance audits (any subject). Training will be available to build your export control knowledge. Our aim is to quickly develop your skills and help you gain valuable experience to succeed in a compliance/ audit career.
