Knavesmire Primary School (part of Excel Learning Trust) is looking to appoint a Pastoral Lead to join the school’s safeguarding team and support the welfare and progress of pupils. Key Responsibilities Identify and work with vulnerable pupils and families. Lead on pastoral support to pupils. Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Develop and implement intervention strategies to help children and their families. Engage in multi‑agency working and build effective relationships with pupils, parents, staff and external agencies. Qualifications GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent. Experience developing and implementing intervention strategies for children and families. Experience in multi‑agency working. Willingness to hold or complete the Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification.
