The Role Lead QA – Cox Automotive Europe (6 Month FTC) Location: Leeds or Manchester Hybrid (UK-based) Lead Quality Assurance for a Greenfield Platform that will shape the future of automotive technology At Cox Automotive Europe, we’re building a Connected Platform that will unify all Cox systems, giving customers a single view of their assets. We’re looking for a Lead QA who is passionate about quality, release management, and continuous delivery to join our innovative Product Engineering team. What You’ll Do Own and manage the release test plan, ensuring predictable delivery cycles aligned with roadmap milestones. Lead and coordinate multi-team software delivery, driving integration alignment and smooth go-live execution. Develop and implement test strategies for comprehensive coverage across multiple workloads. Facilitate cross-team alignment and elevate blockers proactively. Promote automation-first practices and continuous improvement in QA processes. Provide actionable feedback to development teams and keep senior leadership informed. Mentor QA team members and foster a culture of quality. Key Skills Proven experience in multi-team delivery coordination and QA leadership. Strong understanding of release management, CI/CD pipelines, and change control. Experience in Agile environments and building product roadmaps. Knowledge of QA techniques, modern software engineering practices, and risk management.
