This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual wishing to progress in their career within an ambitious, growing enterprise.They offer excellent salary benefit packages as well as training and opportunities for progression on the job to help further enhance your skills and knowledge.Duties IncludeTo develop and maintain mechanical and electrical design drawings using CAD Software packages.Create detailed drawings and BOMs for production & logistics.Ability to determine the operational requirements and be able to propose solutions.Design and implement process improvements for existing automation equipment.Make sure that all design work is completed and to acceptable standards and confirmed with senior manager.Direction and co-ordination of prototypes manufacture.Liaison with R&D to improve efficienciesProduce mechanical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs and business objectives.To complete all relevant documentation to the highest of standards and ensure it is accurate.Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team to ensure that all projects are running smoothly and effectively.Ensure all health and safety requirements are took into consideration throughout the design process.Essential CriteriaDegree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.3+ years’ experience working within a Design role.Strong organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise.Working with design packages, CAD, ProE, etcPrevious SAP experience.Preferable experience in a manufacturing environment/manufacturing best practiceHighly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and WordRequirement to both works on-site and to travel for business.Full clean driving license.How to apply— If you feel this is an opportunity that interests you, please contact Caolán for more information on 0283 089 8345.INFORM3 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer.
