OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior Technical Consultant - OT Cyber Security role at WSP in the UK & Ireland.WSP has a vacant position for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our industry-leading Cyber Security Capability team, delivering specialist cyber security services to a wide spectrum of industries. You will contribute to the capability of our team providing cyber security and strategy advice, technical assurance, solution guidance, specification, design, and testing assurance to our domestic and international clients. You will provide technical consultancy services in close alignment with client needs and lead WSP’s cyber security deliverables through the lifecycle of OT/IT development and Digital Transformation projects. You will also provide strategic advice across our client spectrum as part of your delivery and growth role.What you will doAdvise the client on Cyber Security compliance especially in regard to NIS-D, NIST, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443 and other relevant industry standards and best practicesDevelop a framework for governance as well as Cyber Security and Information Security Management systemsAnalyse Cyber Security controls, comment on an architecture proposal and conduct Threat and Risk assessmentsPerform Cyber Security requirements analysis and tailor them to the client’s needsUnderstand business and technical requirements and translate them into tangible actionsCollaborate with clients, government agencies, partners and supply chain to define technical and procedural solutions to complex problemsWork across projects to support the delivery of best practice Cyber SecurityPresent to clients our Cyber Security services and define the best possible way to support them with challenges in Digital ResilienceWhat we will be looking for you to demonstrateExpertise in OT, IT and IoT/IIoT cyber securityIndustry-specific experience of applied cyber security in sectors such as Energy, Healthcare, Smart Infrastructure/Buildings, Aviation, Maritime, etc.Team leadership skills and experience developing early career professionalsKnowledge of Government FrameworksExperience writing proposals in collaboration with the sales teamExperience with Telecoms, SCADA, mission critical, safety critical or big data architecturesThreat modelling, Vulnerability analysis, Risk matrix modellingSecure DevOps and secure systems engineering lifecycleSecurity policy and governanceCloud Security including OT in the CloudIncident Management frameworks, security incident analysis, digital forensics, crisis management, SOC operations and supporting toolsPractical experience with cyber security platforms/tooling including IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR/MDR and system/device hardening would be advantageousExperience and qualificationsOT/IT or electronics engineering/systems background with consultancy or supplier experience; proven ability to lead teams and collaborate with clients and partners in a Cyber Security environmentSound knowledge of risk assessment methodologies in systems and software development (including Agile, ITIL and V-model processes) and ability to combine them for optimal solutionsExperience authoring and publishing technical reports, advising clients, and working with formal security frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NCSC CAFAbility to define new services and offers for clients needing Cyber Security guidance and supportStrong client-facing communications skills, both written and spoken; experience in a consultancy, pre-sales or security engineering role is an advantageDegree in engineering, computer science or other technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience; Chartered engineer or Cyber Security professional registration is highly recommendedWhy join usWe are a global engineering and professional services firm with a culture of innovation, integrity and inclusion.
