Bank Healthcare Assistant – Outpatients & Pre-ops Department Join to apply for the Bank Healthcare Assistant – Outpatients & Pre-ops Department role at Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital. Nuffield Health is the UK’s largest healthcare charity. This role is a bank contract, working on an ad‑hoc basis, including evenings and weekends, at an hourly rate of £12.33 per hour. You will be based in the Outpatients & Pre‑ops area of the hospital, supporting a wide range of clinical teams such as orthopaedics, gynaecology, neurosurgery, plastics, ENT, cardiology, GP services, psychiatry and physiotherapy. As a Healthcare Assistant you will: Assist colleagues in the various outpatient and pre‑operative clinics. Provide individualized care to patients. Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities. Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations of the clinics. Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care. Requirements You will have an NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care, and relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting. The role requires flexibility in duties and working hours and a positive, team‑oriented attitude with strong communication skills. Benefits Holiday in line with the Working Time Directive.
