As a Senior Private Client Solicitor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Private Client department. You'll lead on complex, high-value work - including contentious probate matters - while enjoying genuine autonomy, hybrid flexibility, and the full support of a collaborative leadership team. Role & Responsibilities Lead and manage a high-quality Private Client caseload, including wills, trusts, estate administration, and enduring powers of attorney. Handle contentious probate matters, including will disputes, contested estates, and related litigation. Advise clients on estate and inheritance tax planning, succession, and trusts. Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships. Supervise and mentor junior colleagues within the Private Client department. Work collaboratively across departments to deliver a seamless client experience. Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the firm's Private Client services. Required Skills & Experience Qualified Solicitor (NI) with strong Private Client experience Proven track record in contentious probate and related dispute work. Excellent knowledge of wills, trusts, estate planning, and succession law. Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.Ability to manage complex caseloads independently while contributing to a team environment. Strong commercial and strategic awareness with a focus on client care and service excellence.
