General Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and efficient General Assistant to join our team in Tipton United Kingdom. As a General Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our operations ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and excellent customer service. Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation Support hospitality services as required ensuring a welcoming environment for customers and guests Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen dining and service areas Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations across all areas Provide friendly and professional customer service to students staff and visitors Undertake various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the facility Assist with stock management and inventory control Support the set-up and breakdown of events or meetings as needed Adapt to changing priorities and assist in other areas of the organisation as required Qualifications Experience in a catering food service or customer-facing environment is desirable but not essential Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices; Level 1 Food Safety Certificate is advantageous Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a friendly customer-focused attitude Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work various shifts including weekends and evenings if required Ability to multitask and prioritise workload efficiently Basic computer skills for administrative tasks Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights A positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Additional Information For almost 20 years for every client in every location (whether thats an office stadium cathedral or university) we have created beautiful spaces exciting menus and friendly teams so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.
