Crawler crane operator UK Sarens is looking for a Crawler crane operator for a major 18‑month project in Hull, UK. You will operate the CC8800 and LR11350 cranes, ensuring that every lift is safe, accurate, and compliant. Join the force behind #NOTHING TOO HEAVY, NOTHING TOO HIGH Job in a Nutshell Operate and control CC8800 and LR11350 cranes independently and safely. Assemble, configure, and dismantle cranes on site. Check planning instructions, lifting plans, certificates, and load charts before work. Inspect cranes and auxiliary equipment before, during, and after operations. Perform daily and preventive maintenance; report irregularities. Complete maintenance checklists and work records accurately. Promote SHEQ standards and continuous improvement on every site. Report to your Line Manager and collaborate with Team Blue across Europe. About You You’re a hands‑on professional who combines technical skill with a strong sense of responsibility. You value safety, precision, and teamwork, and you’re ready to travel and take ownership of your craft. Required Proven experience operating CC8800 and/or LR11350 cranes. Valid hoisting/safety certificate. Working at heights certificate. Solid knowledge of English for site communication. Basic understanding of mechanics and hydraulics. Driver’s licence C or CE. Preferred Technical education (MTS or MBO). Additional certificates (forklift, telehandler, aerial platform). Excellent communication and situational awareness skills.
