Responsibilities Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate Demonstrates and promotes the company vision Maintains regular attendance and punctuality Performs prep/analysis of samples of various matrices using a variety of analytical methods Analyzes/prepares samples and QC for routine testing Reviews, works up, and assembles all supporting data for work performed Performs basic maintenance on routine equipment Reads, understands, and carries out SOPs required by EPA, company methods, governing agencies, clients, and internal QC department Prepares standard solutions and other reagents as needed Uses word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC Disposes of all chemical wastes using approved methods Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner Performs other duties as assigned This position is full-time, 2nd shift (3pm‑11:30pm). Overtime is required as needed. Training will be Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4:30pm; a flexible schedule may be possible. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for degree. Professional working proficiency in English is required, including the ability to read, write and speak in English. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship. Ideal Candidates Previous laboratory experience. Experience with instrumentation, including LC/MS or GC/MS. Environmental science coursework or experience (not required).
