Job Overview Metro Rod is a leading reactive plumbing service delivering 24/7 emergency plumbing and scheduled maintenance across West Yorkshire and beyond. Established in 1983, we have supported major clients such as Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, and Wetherspoons. We are looking for a qualified Plumbing Engineer to join our team. Location: Doncaster area, West Yorkshire. Hours: 42.5 hours per week, between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Salary: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour plus overtime. Responsibilities Carry out all aspects of plumbing work for domestic and commercial customers, including installation and maintenance of toilets, taps, ball valves, siphons, flexible hoses, pipework, radiator valves, and boiler heating systems. Attend heating and gas emergencies as well as general plumbing installations, leaks, and issues. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high satisfaction rating. Work a flexible schedule, including overtime and occasional weekend duties as required. Qualifications Proven experience as a Plumbing Engineer for both domestic and commercial customers. NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent experience). Unvented certification. DBS checked (or willingness to be checked). Full UK driving licence. CSCS card. Flexibility to work overtime.
