We are seeking a HGV Waste Water Operative to join our team on our United Utilities workstream. Responsibilities Work closely with a Waste water Operative to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities. Attend to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering concerns, including timescales. Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks or damage that could hinder water flow. Carry out all aspects of high‑pressure water jetting and operate the equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems. Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers. Use an electronic device – laptop or tablet – for data entry purposes. Ensure safety issues are reported in line with company procedures. Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high‑pressure water jetting equipment to ensure proper working order. Qualifications HGV Class 2 licence (required). Driver's licence with no more than 6 penalty points. Experience with working on a Recycler. Experience of high‑pressure water jetting is essential. Competence in IT and accurate data entry. Team player. Positive, can‑do attitude. Training Full training will be given in the following areas: Jetting SLG First Aid Manual Handling Confined Spaces Role Details Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston. Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am–4pm. Overtime available as per business needs. Salary: Up to £36,946 (DOE). Weekly pay.
