We’re seeking a multi-skilled Fabricator to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal (predominantly stainless steel) components and structures according to technical drawings and/or specifications. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings. Cut, shape, and weld metal materials to precise measurements. Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to meet project deadlines. About You Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related engineering trade. Proficient in MIG/TIG welding and general fabrication techniques (with a preference for TIG weld). Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in bench fitting and use of hand tools. 'Can do' attitude, as most projects are bespoke and one‑offs. Relevant qualifications or certifications in fabrication/welding, and experience of conveyor building are desirable. Main workshop is based in Dumbarton, but the successful candidate will be required to travel to/from client sites as requested.
