PE Teacher needed for full time, long term role in Leicester - MPS/UPS 

Job Title: PE Teacher

Location: Leicester
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Salary: MPS/UPS - Competitive, Dependent on Experience

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Leicester. If you are an energetic educator with a love for sports and fitness, this is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of students through physical education.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons that cater to students of all abilities.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels encouraged to participate.
Promote the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
Organize and lead extra-curricular sports activities, clubs, and school teams.
Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive approach to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Must hold QTS for this role and have a valid DBS on the update service.
