Join the team as a Night Transport Supervisor at GBA Logistics. Position: Night Transport Supervisor Location: Warrington, UKEmployment type: Full-time – 4 on 4 off nights 19:00 – 7:00Salary range: £34,900 – £37,000 per annumShift pattern: Rolling 4 on 4 off (night shifts) Key Responsibilities Plan transport operations for the upcoming 48 hours across three sites, ensuring resources are effectively allocated. Supervise the Transport Coordinator and a team of HGV drivers, overseeing driver activities including start times, job allocation, and end‑of‑day debriefs. Manage driver annual leave schedules and conduct return‑to‑work interviews and welfare meetings. Handle disciplinary matters and assist in investigations where required. Track vehicle progress throughout the day using telematics/GPS and proactively update customers on any delays or delivery issues. Maintain high standards of compliance with transport legislation and company policies, ensuring the TMS is updated in real‑time with accurate job information. Quickly respond to operational issues, delays, or disruptions and make informed decisions to ensure continuity of service. About You (Qualifications & Skills) Confidence with IT systems including Outlook and Excel. Minimum 2 years of experience in a transport or logistics environment. Understanding of UK/EU driving hours laws and restrictions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
