Horizon Care and Education have an opportunity for a Youth Support Worker to join our team. With an attractive salary that could earn you up to £32,000 a year. Salary £24,570 Average mileage - £250 per month Sleep ins 2 per week On call £17.50 per day, average 1 week a month. As a Youth Support Worker you will be helping young people transition to independent living, duties include: Provide emotional and practical support, including out-of-hours on-call. Involvement in support plans and risk assessments. Help young people access education, training, and employment. Manage properties and liaise with other professionals. Support our young people to develop independent living skills to prepare them to live fully independently. What we’re looking for from you: A driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential. Experience working with young people. Ability to be resilient and empathetic when working with our young people. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities and ability to manage your own workload.
