Join WPS : Resident Engineer Opportunity in London Location : Bromley, Kent Are you a skilled Mechanical or Electrical Engineer looking for a role where you can make a real impact? We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join our team, working on-site with our prestigious client, JLL. Deliver exceptional planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on building plant, equipment, and systems—while responding swiftly to engineering emergencies to keep operations running smoothly. About the Role As a Resident Engineer, you’ll be the go-to technical expert on-site. Your responsibilities include: Performing PPM and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal building performance. Responding quickly and effectively to engineering issues and emergencies. Preparing detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks. Supervising subcontractors to maintain high standards of work. Recording all tasks accurately and ensuring weekly client sign-off. Upholding health and safety excellence and compliance with company policies. This is a primarily single-site role, with occasional work at other locations. What We’re Looking For Mechanical or Electrical engineering experience in building services or facilities management. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively under pressure. Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). What We Offer Competitive salary.
