Job Description Are you an experienced Welder Fabricator with a background in bespoke metalwork? Do you have the skills and attention to detail to work with both mild steel and stainless steel? Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a skilled Welder Fabricator to join a specialist manufacturer based in Nottingham. The company designs, fabricates, and installs high-quality steel and glass structures for various sectors nationwide. They are currently delivering several major projects on behalf of well-known UK brands and are looking to strengthen their workshop team with additional fabricating expertise. Full-time, Temp-to-Perm or Permanent (subject to experience) Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 Competitive, dependent on skills and experience Immediate start available Key Responsibilities Fabricate bespoke metalwork in a workshop environment to high standards Weld mild and stainless steel using MIG and TIG techniques Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate components Work with precision to meet tight tolerances and quality requirements Support site installation teams on occasion where additional assistance is required Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean working area Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification Skills and Experience Required Proven experience in metal fabrication and sheet metal work Strong MIG and TIG welding experience with ability to weld to a high standard Confident reading and working from engineering drawings Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade is desirable CSCS card is an advantage (not essential) Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Must have the right to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship provided) What's on Offer Competitive pay based on experience and skillset Long-term opportunity with a respected and growing company Friendly and supportive team culture Varied projects with opportunities to develop skills Early finish every Friday If you are a confident Welder Fabricator with the experience to deliver high-quality bespoke metalwork, we would love to hear from you.
