Job Title Food and Beverage Assistant Reporting To Food and Beverage Operations Manager Hours 40 per week on a shift basis Overview We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Waverley Abbey House. We dream of Waverley Abbey providing a world-class service in all areas of hospitality, centered around simple excellence. A 5-star experience that allows each guest to understand that they are important to us, and we are here to serve them with kindness and excellence in customer service and will feel in abundance. What we are looking for 2+ years’ experience in a busy high-profile hospitality venue Team player who communicates well with all colleagues Punctual, reliable and trustworthy Sense of urgency Yes, yes, yes mentality Ability to multitask under pressure and show initiative Have a genuine passion for food and beverage Customer-oriented and service-minded as well as flexible and proactive Varying shift times across the seven days to include working evenings, weekends, bank holidays and both opening and closing shifts Responsibilities Our Food and Beverage Assistants are responsible for the preparation and setting up of our cafe (indoor and outdoor), our event dining and all catering areas ready for service. Serving meals and refreshments to a high standard of service, clearing away and washing up. You will also assist with some catering-related cleaning tasks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
