We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. Role Overview Quality Control Advisor – join the HSEQ Department. The role requires construction or QC experience and focuses on implementing the QC/IMS processes across projects. Responsibilities Review the QC process and ensure no gaps are found and all documents link across the main construction phase processes. Engage with the supply chain, starting with high‑risk contractors, to explain and upskill them to understand our process. Engage with the project teams to ensure they understand their roles within the QC process. Deliver training to internal and external stakeholders to ensure our requirements are fully understood. Review IT processes with the IT Working Group to develop solutions to simplify the QC processes. Develop specific QC knowledge on particular quality issues and advise bid teams and project teams on how to avoid them. Work with the HSEQ Manager to develop and maintain the company integrated management system. General Day‑to‑Day Actions liaise with the CM at CPP development to ensure that the ITP Register is developed. liaise between the CM/QS to ensure that QC is part of package discussions and the project requirements are clear to the S/C at order. Attend pre‑start meetings for selected high‑risk packages. Assist the project teams to review S/C ITPs and help the S/C improve their offering. Ensure that a programme of QC inspections is agreed between the project team and S/C and monitor its implementation. Review submitted QC inspections to ensure they are compliant with our requirements. Review that the QC records are transferred to PIM at regular intervals by the project team/admin and ensure that all records are held on the system at project completion. Ensure that the snagging process is in place and being recorded by the project team. Audit and report on the QC process. Candidate Requirements Outgoing, team player confident working with multiple disciplines to drive improvements. Degree qualified preferably in quality management subjects or a proven track record in construction management. Experience working with ISO9001, 14001 & 45001. Valid driving licence and ability to travel when required. Clear desire to drive quality improvements. IT literate – Microsoft packages including Visio. Confident in developing and delivering training. Experience within the construction industry is essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
