Along with our staff networks and training opportunities, we work hard to embed a just and compassionate culture here at NELFT.Find out more about NELFT careers and what makes our Trust a great place to work, in this videoJob overviewBand 4 (Band 3 Development Opportunity)Aim of the roleThe post holder will be expected to support their team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust’s Values in their day to day work.We are kindWe are respectfulWe work together with our communitiesThe post holder will be required to provide support to the finance team.Main duties of the jobKey ResponsibilitiesChasing outstanding debt.Implementing Trust policies and procedures relating to overseas visitor and NCA income.Investigating financial queries and analysing detailed data to identify errors and discrepancies.Attending meetings when needed.Assisting with any other financial or reporting duties as required.Planning own workload to ensure monthly and weekly timescales are met.The post holder will be a member of a large finance team and will be required to work closely with finance and operational colleagues, project groups and other partner organisations, including ICBs, local Authorities and other NHS organisations and stakeholders to support the provision of efficient and effective financial management.Working for our organisationProbationary PeriodThis post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).High Cost Area SupplementThis post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,551 to a maximum of £5,735).Although we are a registered sponsor organisation, we are unable to offer sponsorship for all job roles.
