Mental Health Support Worker - Driver Location: WR2 4DZ Base pay range £12.40 per hour Full‑time: 42 hours per week. Shifts: Days. Responsibilities Support people with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using person‑centred approaches to enable positive outcomes as defined in their support plan. Basic daily duties, including medication administration, cooking, cleaning and paperwork. Provide emotional and practical support. Support people in our care to access community facilities and be included in community groups. Build robust relationships with the people in our care to promote independence and improve quality of life. Empower the people in our care to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests. Person Specifications Experience within the care industry, including ICDs or equivalent (essential). Previous experience supporting people with mental health conditions, complex care needs and challenging behaviours. Driving licence (essential). Must have mental health experience. Ability to multi‑task. Good time‑management, organisation, attention to detail and flexibility. IT literate. A positive ‘can‑do’ attitude. Good communication skills. Compassionate, caring, positive personality. Genuine passion for making a real difference in people’s lives. Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
