Dissertation Supervisor - Business & Tourism - Part Time Join GEDU Global Education as a part‑time Dissertation Supervisor, supporting adult learners in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds campuses. What You’ll Be Doing Support up to 20 students, providing 10 hours of supervision plus marking time per student. Guide students in defining research questions, selecting methodologies, conducting literature reviews, and drafting dissertations. Provide structured feedback, ensure adherence to academic, institutional and PSRB standards. Maintain regular contact, encourage independent thinking, and address academic or personal challenges. About You Holder of at least a Masters‑level degree in Business, Tourism or related field. Demonstrable experience in academic research and dissertation supervision. Experience working in higher education and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and passion for diverse student bodies. Willing to work occasional weekends/ evenings and travel to campuses. Good IT skills – Microsoft Office. Desirable External examiner experience. Relevant industry experience. Salary £250 per student, including supervisory time, formative feedback, first and second marking, and ad‑hoc meetings.
